Brandon and Lio chose to keep their wedding beautifully simple with an intimate morning elopement at Dripping Springs near Las Cruces, New Mexico.

With just a few family members and close friends joining them, they walked up the trail, found a quiet spot surrounded by the desert landscape, and held their ceremony with the Organ Mountains in the background.

Afterward, we spent some time exploring the area and creating portraits together while simply enjoying the landscape and the quiet of the morning.

There is something special about a wedding day this intimate—very little production, no complicated schedule, just two people getting married in a place they love with the people closest to them.

These are the kinds of small, meaningful elopements I would love to photograph more often.
