Angelica’s experience is planning weddings that are catered to each couple’s love story has made her a favorite in El Paso. Here’s what she has to say to help others plan their big day!

An organized, well-thought out schedule, not only for your wedding day, but for the month leading up to your wedding is so important and will save you unnecessary stress and last minute to do’s. No couple wants to
be rushing the last few days before their wedding getting final details taken care of. Enlist help of your bridesmaids and groomsmen and aim to have all the items checked off your list at least one week prior the wedding so the week of you can relax and have fun anticipating the big day.

Remember what is important on your wedding day. You can’t control everything-a groomsman might forget his pocket square, the ring bearer might miss his cue, the weather may be less than ideal but what matters the most is that you are marrying the love of your life and that you are celebrating it with your friends and family. It is more than likely going to be the only time in your lives when you will have all your loved ones in the same room. Enjoy it! If guests see that the bride and groom are having a great time, they’ll have fun too. As long as you’re married at the end of the night, the day was a success.

There are many customs that are traditionally associated with a wedding-the white gown, bouquet and garter toss, a three tiered wedding cake. While these are all beautiful, a wedding is no longer a traditional, one size fits all event. What works for one couple, might not make sense for another. Take your wedding as an opportunity to create a true reflection of who you are as a couple. Some of the most memorable weddings I’ve planned were for couples who threw all expectations out the window and chose elements that were fun and uniquely them. Your wedding is the greatest party you will ever host! Have fun with the planning and be sure to incorporate details that are meaningful and unique to your own relationship.

Alisha, is not only detail oriented but provides the touch of perfection when planning your event. Her understanding of a vintage aesthetic, and her remarkable eye that transforms mundane spaces, makes her words of wisdom gems to newly engaged couples.

Make meaningful choices. When contracting vendors and making design choices pick your top three most important items to you. This will help you prioritize your budget and help everything else fall into place.

Surround yourself with ones who love you and are team you. Not everyone has to get an invite.

Once the big day arrives focus on each other and having fun. Accept that no matter how perfectly you have planned your day things can and will happen. What matters most is your celebrating your love for each other.

Veronica understands the busy schedule of brides and grooms-to be. She has helped countless couples overcome the stress of the overwhelming process and given them the wedding of their dreams. Take a look at her quick tips to get you on the path for planning yours!

Hire an experienced Wedding Coordinator to handle everything so you, your bridal party and family can truly enjoy the day.

Create a detailed schedule of the day with plenty of time for unexpected delays throughout the day. You’ve spent so much time and money planning this day, don’t rush through it. Breaks and time to freshen up between activities is always good and hardly ever planned. Schedule enough time for bridal party, immediate family and couples photos. The day flies by and all you have left after your wedding day are the memories, photos and video. Hire the best photographer you can afford and one whom you feel comfortable with since he/she will be with you all day. You can’t go back an re-do that day.

Enjoy every minute of your day. Don’t sweat the small stuff. The only thing that really matters that day is that you are marrying the love of your life.

I’m planning my wedding for this winter, so I wanted tips and advice! My family is really traditional, so it’s good to hear that I can break out of that mold for my wedding and incorporate details that my husband and I would love to see at our reception. I’ll have to keep that in mind as I plan, so I can find the perfect venue and decorations, thanks to this post!
