When selecting a wedding photographer,
I remember originally viewing several local photographers’ portfolios in the Las Cruces area.
We knew out of all of the vendors the photographer was the most important to us. My husband and I talked about how we wanted to always reflect on our wedding day and see not only the beauty within the photos, but the raw emotions that were captured. We were looking for a candid-style wedding photographer with a relaxed style that’s both modern and timeless.
There were some that stood out, but I decided to also search in the El Paso area due to our wedding being held at a venue there. I remember searching and seeing Stephane’s profile as one of the top 10 wedding photographers in El Paso, Texas. I viewed each photographer and when I came across Stephane’s, I immediately showed my husband. It’s cliché to say because I’m sure it’s heard so often, but his photo portfolio was something so special and unique; Something we both had never seen before. You could immediately tell he has such an amazing talent; How the photos were captured, the vibrancy of the colors and details shown. We both knew we wanted to meet with him.

Stephane was amazing from the moment we met him. He was very transparent on the process, so polite and such a professional. We loved filling out all the questionnaires he provided.

You could just immediately see his attentiveness, attention to detail, guidance and communication was on point. We ended up securing our unforgettable wedding date (Friday the 13th, 2023) with him along with an engagement photo session.

Stephane was EXTREMELY detailed to say the least, which we absolutely love. Aside from just naming locations, he always wanted to get to know us deep down. As in, what was the significance of the locations we chose and why… What made us fall in love with each other… What do we find most attractive about one another… as just some of the examples to which he used to capture our raw emotions. We chose the Botanical Gardens located in Phoenix, Arizona as our engagement shoot because of the significance in our relationship behind it. Stephane and his stunning finance, Dulce, were with us the entire day! He even took the initiative to scope out a secondary location that overlooked the city on a gorgeous hiking trail which included so many of our favorite photos! Words cannot describe the type of commitment shown by Stephane. He went above and beyond with his preparation for our engagement photos and truly made us feel so comfortable. We received so many compliments by family and friends of how beautiful our photos turned out.

Fast forward to our wedding day… Stephane captured so many iconic images where we both literally jumped out of our seats and screamed when we saw them! He truly was able to capture the whole journey of the day, exposing raw reactions from our first looks to sharing our vows and reception speeches from close family & friends to name a few. We also weren’t expecting so many! So much gratitude and thanks has been given for taking the time to edit and pull together such a huge number of images. The coverage was incredible, and he really captured every moment and every person. So much more than documentation, his photos are full of love, emotion, energy, style, and detail.

I sometimes feel like I run out of words to describe Stephane’s photography, because he is THAT amazing. If there was an Oscar for his work, he would definitely be nominated. It is just something you must see and experience for yourself to say the least and you won’t regret it! Our wedding photos are completely unique to us and our event, they are not cookie-cutter in any way. We will treasure these photos forever.
