Jardines Arco Iris Wedding in El Paso I Denise + Adam
There are many ways to start your special day but for Border Patrol Agent Adam, his Jardines Arco Iris Wedding begins with a polka dot wrapped present. The Groom eagerly opens up the present and finds there is a gold watch inside. As soon as Adam puts his watch on his face becomes all smiles and grins. Being able to capture these moments is what makes my job so valuable to me. Adam then notices that accompanied with the watch is a note from his lovely Bride-to-be.
“Don’t be late! 3 p.m at the altar”.
Once the groom finishes up getting ready I headed to the bride, Denise. I knocked on the door where she was getting ready and a bridesmaids let me in. I quickly noticed they are all wearing matching silk floral robes, which is of course a portrait I must capture. Denise puts her dress on and has the most beautiful moment as she gazes upon how breath taking she looks. Little did Denise know she was in for a delightful surprise. The groom also gave her a pre-wedding gift. As she open’s the gift her face lights up, I see it’s a white and blue football jersey of her favorite team.
We make our way to St. Pius Church where the ceremony takes place. I unfortunately am given many restrictions at this church and get limited to the balcony. Although I was unable to be as creative as I usually like I try taking as many great shots as possible. One shot in particular that I love is the one I catch of them kissing for the first time as husband and wife. The passion in their faces only emphasizes the love this couple has for one another. We take some time after the ceremony to get some portraits with the bridal party. They are all very fun and easy going.
After finishing up bridal party portraits we start heading to a farm in far east El Paso. Landscape photos are definitely one of my favorite shots to get so being out on a farm gave me the opportunity to do just so. It begins raining during the portraits which was exciting and fun. I have always been a fan of dramatic skies and the beauty this couple portrays only added more to the drama of the portraits.
The reception was held at Jardines Arco Iris, a lovely El Paso wedding venue that is perfect for outdoor weddings. The dance floor spread across the venue with plenty of room for everyone to dance the night away. I very much enjoyed my time spent with this lovely couple through out this wonderful day in their lives.
May the rest of your days be filled with as much love and happiness as there was on your very special Jardines Arco Iris Wedding.
