We love El Paso so much and we really wanted to celebrate our love in our favorite part of town – Downtown, El Paso! It only made sense to pick St. Patrick Cathedral and the Cortez Ballroom because of the history, beauty and significance of both.

We loved every moment of our big day! As a COVID couple that had to postpone our wedding, it was such a great feeling to see our family and friends together in the same place for the first time in a long time. We loved that our initial reunion with our guests was at mass because it made that moment all that more special. Our priest, Father Matta, went above and beyond to make our mass sweet and personal, so we felt right at home with all of our loved ones surrounding us. It was even sweeter to continue the reunion on the dance floor later that night!
Just like the Cortez itself, love is timeless. It transcends generations and weaves its way through history, leaving a mark that will last for generations to come. Josie and Aaron’s wedding at the Cortez Ballrooms was a beautiful reminder of this. As a photographer, I feel privileged to have been able to capture the essence of their love against the backdrop of such a historic and breathtaking setting.
