I begin this beautiful occasion at Calamigos Ranch with the groom Arthur. He is so excited for the day ahead. I could feel his excitement as soon as I walk in the door. His groomsmen are at the hotel so I am able to capture a great shot of them all with Arthur. His bride Michelle wrote him a special note to read before the big ceremony ahead of them. After I got some time in with the groom I head over to the bride. When I walk in Michelle is finishing up getting her make up done. She looks stunning. While there, I am able to capture a beautiful moment. It is between the lovely bride-to-be and her grandmother. This interaction added a special touch to this memorable wedding at Calamigos Ranch.

Once the bride is ready we head over to Calamigos Ranch for the first look. Arthur couldn’t take his eyes off her. They shared many smiles. I was so grateful to capture these moments for them. After the first look we headed to their specific venue room called the Oak Room. The ceremony was something out of a fairy tale. There was a waterfall behind the couple as they got married which made for enchanting photos.It was such a dreamy Malibu wedding!

After the ceremony the couple and I had some time to explore the grounds. We found an old barn that I felt would be the perfect backdrop for some old barn portraits. Michelle’s dress had the most delicate detail on the sleeve’s which sat perfectly on her shoulders. After spending some time with just the couple and myself we headed back to the Oaks Room for the reception. It was a total blast from finish to end! Friends and family all gathered in harmony to celebrate the love Arthur and Michelle share. I would definitely recommend this venue for others looking in the Malibu area and suggest considering a gorgeous wedding at Calamigos Ranch for its stunning backdrop.
