Photographing Rachel and Roderick’s engagement session gave me the opportunity to glimpse into the fun relationship this couple shares. As I begin to photograph their El Paso Coronado country club wedding, I am happy to find the same quirkiness throughout the traditional wedding. 

 I am greeted with excitement from not only the groom, but his equally excited groomsmen, as I walk into Roderick’s suite. While the men laugh and enjoy their time together, I am ready to begin with the details of Roderick’s outfit. Take a peek at those cufflinks! Personal touches are always a delight! Before I head to Rachel’s room, I use the hallway to frame the men in their own family portrait. 

Now for Rachel’s turn! Entering the bride’s suite, Rachel is getting her hair and makeup finished by Jessica Avila from TOUSLED salon. Her beautiful mom and sister join her. You can see in the pictures how much excitement and love they share. I am happy I was able to capture these moments for them.

Saint Patrick’s Cathedral Ceremony

 Although Roderick didn’t cry, you could see the emotion take over him as he saw Rachel start to walk down the aisle of Saint Patrick Cathedral . The ceremony was just as fun and unexpected as the couple!  During the ceremony, the coins used, fell all over the floor. The small hiccup only added to the memories though! So much love was shared as the couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

Wedding reception at Coronado Country Club

The weather wasn’t ideal,  but I was still able to get amazing shots before the El Paso Coronado Country club reception! Rachel and Roderick rented a vintage car that we used in photographs right outside of El Paso City Hall. I photographed the entire bridal party outside the couple’s reception at the El Paso Coronado Country Club. With lots of smiles, I had them run towards me as they laughed and had a good time. The happy couple celebrated their new life together and kept the fun going through the night.
