DANCEFLOOR FUN : 5/10 – Small dance floor, so fewer chances to snag those awesome, energetic guest pics.

SAINT ROGERS DEPOT
Built in 1903, it was designed in the Italianate-style as the El Paso & Southwestern Railroad and Freight Depot. It originally served merchants shipping gold, copper, and timber. The breathtaking renovation was completed in early 2020, transforming the depot into a premiere event venue.
The venue showcases architectural details like exposed brick, cultural mosaics, and an original bar.
St. Rogers Depot isn’t just a venue—it’s a storybook setting filled with history, love, and modern elegance. Its versatility and charm make it a beautiful choice for a wedding that’s as memorable as your love story.

GRACE GARDENS
Grace Gardens is a favorite for outdoor wedding ceremonies. This wedding venue is great for photography opportunities!
Grace Gardens is a wonderful choice because they offer everything! You won’t have to worry about a thing. One of the best elements offered is the flower arrangements. However, keep in mind this detail. If you have a unique arrangement and a specific florist in mind, Grace Gardens will charge you extra.
Here you will be capable of enjoying your wedding ceremony under the Redwood Pavilion or Pond Island.
Be aware that if you’re looking for an entirely private event, this location may not be the ideal choice. This venue hosts up to 4 weddings at a time, in 4 different ballrooms.

FIRST LOOK: 10/10 – Good spots available for a first look
CEREMONY: 9/10 – Great location for an outdoor ceremony, but be aware that if you schedule it too close to sunset, the setting sun could make it difficult for guests to see clearly

DANCEFLOOR FUN : 10/10 – Big dance floor = tons of fun pics!
NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY: 5/10 – Limited

CORONADO COUNTRY CLUB
If you envision a “riding off into the sunset” moment, the Coronado Country Club is an excellent choice.

This location offers one of the best views to enjoy a sunset. Just imagine the beautiful mountains in the distance. Talk about picture perfect!
This venue boasts abundant greenery, a welcome contrast to El Paso’s desert landscape.
In my experience, this wedding venue offers a great space for photo opportunities.
The beautiful cocktail hour held on the patio is a favorite amongst guests. It is also a great photo opportunity if you love sunsets. But, the smaller dance floor is best suited for 100 guests or fewer. If your guest list exceeds this, be prepared for some overcrowding.

SUNSET / GOLDEN HOUR: 10/10 – It’s truly the prime location for capturing stunning golden hour shots and breathtaking sunset vistas with an unobstructed sky.
DANCEFLOOR FUN : 7/10 – Decent size dancefloor
NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY: 8/10 – Excellent location for send off and night photography

Choosing the Right Wedding Venue in El Paso
When choosing among wedding venues in El Paso, the right choice isn’t just about size or style, it’s about how the space supports the way you want your day to feel. Think about where your family will gather, where you’ll be before the ceremony, and where moments can happen without being rushed.
Frequently Asked Questions About Wedding Venues in El Paso
What is the best time of year to get married in El Paso?
Most couples choose spring (March–April) or fall (October–November), when the weather is comfortable and the light is softer. Summers can be very warm, especially for outdoor ceremonies, while winter weddings tend to work best indoors or during the middle of the day. Each season has its own rhythm, what matters most is choosing a time that supports the way you want your day to feel.
How far in advance should we book wedding venues in El Paso?
Many wedding venues in El Paso book 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular dates in spring and fall. If you have your heart set on a specific venue or season, it’s best to reach out as early as possible. That said, beautiful weddings still happen on shorter timelines, flexibility often opens unexpected doors.
Are there outdoor wedding venues in El Paso that work year-round?
Yes, but timing matters. Outdoor wedding venues in El Paso are most comfortable in spring and fall. For summer or winter dates, look for venues that offer shaded areas, indoor options, or flexible ceremony spaces. Having a thoughtful backup plan allows everyone, including you, to relax and stay present.
What should we consider when choosing a wedding venue in El Paso?
Beyond size and style, think about how the space supports connection. Where will your family gather? Is there room to slow down before the ceremony? Does the venue allow moments to unfold naturally without feeling rushed? The right venue isn’t just a backdrop, it holds the experience of the day.
Do all wedding venues in El Paso allow outside vendors?
Policies vary. Some venues offer full-service packages, while others allow you to bring in your own photographer, planner, and vendors. If personalization and flexibility matter to you, it’s worth asking about vendor policies early in the process.
How does the venue affect wedding photography?
Light, space, and flow matter more than most people expect. Some wedding venues in El Paso offer beautiful natural light and quiet pockets for emotional moments, while others feel more energetic and celebratory. A venue that supports calm movement and gathering often results in photographs that feel more honest and timeless.
Can you help us choose a venue if we’re still deciding?
Yes, without pressure. Having photographed weddings at many El Paso venues, I’m happy to share insight about how different spaces feel on a wedding day, not just how they look online. Sometimes an outside perspective brings clarity.
Is it better to choose the venue or the photographer first?
There’s no single right order. Many couples choose their venue first, while others start with the photographer whose approach they trust. What matters most is that both align with your values, presence, care, and how you want your memories preserved.
